Graphic Design
This page highlights some of my graphic design work across print and digital projects. From rebrands and event materials to original illustrations and publication layouts, these pieces represent a mix of client needs, personal interests, and creative challenges I’ve enjoyed tackling.
I designed this tasting menu for Dress for Success Houston's annual wine-pairing dinner, PowHER Hour. I worked directly with vendors to facilitate the production of these menus as well as other print materials for the June 2025 event. Tools Used: Adobe Illustrator, Canva
Task: Create a magazine layout for an existing article from The New York Times. Tools Used: Adobe InDesign
Task: Create a set of three book covers with a different typeface style for each — one serif, one sans serif, and one script. The cover pictured is my favorite in the set and features my original artwork. Tools Used: Adobe InDesign, Illustrator
A visual summary I designed to accompany my campaign submission for the 2024 American Marketing Association Crystal Awards. Tools Used: Adobe InDesign
Task: Create a rebranding campaign for an existing company that appeals to a different target market while using a famous artist as inspiration for the campaign. I chose to rebrand Duncan Hines, targeting a younger demographic. I used Andy Warhol’s work as visual inspiration for both artistic and historical reasons — his use of bright and aggressive color, his works containing food items as the subject, his use of screenprinting, and his fascination with consumer culture. Task: Create a full-page magazine ad for a fictional clothing company as part of a full brand suite. My fictional company specialized in work attire for millennial "geeks" — think subtle prints based on video games, movies, and other pop culture trends featured on classic, business professional silhouettes. Tools Used: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator
An event flyer I created as a social media intern for San Jacinto College. Tools Used: Adobe Photoshop, Unsplash
Original Artwork — 2018, "Taro River." This piece won the third place purchase award in a student art exhibition at the South Campus Gallery. Fun fact: It is currently on display in the art building's faculty lounge! Tools Used: Adobe Photoshop, Drawing Tablet
I created this logo for a student organization while I was president. Members of the group submitted several logo ideas and mine won the vote. Tools Used: Adobe Illustrator
I designed this logo for my Etsy business. Tools Used: Adobe Illustrator
